Bristol Museum M Shed is one of the city’s cultural gems and is of great interest to citizens and visitors alike who want to know more about Bristol’s rich industrial history. Bristol Civic Society has arranged three visits to the museum’s stores where many maritime and industrial objects not on public display are kept.
There are visits on three dates:
- Tuesday 31st January at 3.30pm
- Tuesday 7th February at 2.30pm
- Saturday 25th February at 2.30pm
The three viewings will be guided by Ed Hall. He will show us around the M Shed treasure trove, filling in some of the background details of the store’s extensive inventory. The tour will take up to about ninety minutes and has a fee of £5 per person. Spaces are limited on each tour and will be allocated strictly on a first come first served basis, so early booking is advised.
Members will be invited to join the tour by email.
