Join Francis Greenacre, art historian and former Curator of Fine Art at Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, on a captivating tour of some of Bristol’s most notable buildings of the last two and a half centuries. Starting at the Museum and Art Gallery, the walk will include the Doge’s palace (pictured), Freemason’s Hall in Park Street, the Free Library in King Street and Bush House (the Arnolfini), where it will end. As well as the buildings, in the course of a fascinating hour and a half, Francis will talk about architects and patrons, such as Frank Wills, Foster and Wood, C.R. Cockerell, the Patys and T.S. Pope. Not to be missed!
