When visiting The Watershed, have you ever noticed the signs pointing to The Pervasive Media Studio and wondered what it is? Here’s your chance to find out, as we’ve organised a visit: 10.30 on Wednesday 4th September, lasting for some 90 minutes.
The Studio is an initiative supported by The Watershed, UWE and Bristol University which offers support for artists, creative technologists, filmmakers and companies working at the interface of art and technology, with an emphasis on cooperation and collaborative working. It provides “residencies” – desk and workshop space, and practical support – for some 150 people, working across disciplines from performance art to poetry, comedy to coding, and everything in between, helping them to produce cutting edge products, award winning cultural experiences and globally leading research.
Numbers are limited to 30, and there is an admin charge of £1. Members will be invited by to book a place.
