Bristol Doors Open Day

Bristol Civic Society is proud to be one of the sponsors of Bristol Doors Open Day, the once-a-year chance to look behind closed doors and discover the city’s hidden treasures. Bristol Civic Society is represented on the Advisory Group by Peter Weeks.

Bristol Doors Open Day is coordinated by Design West, Bristol’s centre for design and creative placemaking. For one weekend in September, the festival gives citizens the keys to the city with hands-on workshops, talks and expert-led tours. The festival celebrates the past, present and future of our city through a programme of quality events and innovative, one-off experiences.

Doors Open Days, or Heritage Open Days, take place in many towns and cities across the country.
