A walk looking at architectural sculpture and some fine commemorative statues, a superb fountain and some exceptional contemporary commissions, all within easy walking distance of the Museum and Art Gallery in Queen’s Road where we will start and finish.
The walk is led by Francis Greenacre, former curator of fine art at Bristol Museum and Art Gallery. He is the author of several publications on Bristol’s art and artists, including, with Douglas Merritt, Public Sculpture of Bristol, 2011.
The walk will start and finish outside of the Museum and Art Gallery in Queens Road BS8 Road.
Booking is essential and with space is limited it is on a first come first served basis. There is no charge for this event.
Please email to reserve you place to events@bristolcivicsociety.org.uk. We will then confirm availability.
We respectfully remind walkers of their personal responsibility to keep a social distance from others whilst on the walk.
