The Civic Society is working closely with the Old Market Community Association on this project and is supportive of the detailed submission made by that Association.
The Society is particularly concerned by the height of proposed buildings along Kingsland Road which we consider will have a detrimental impact on the existing houses along that road. And also on Alfred Street so that excessive height does not adversely affect potential development on the opposite side of the road.
