A Zoom talk by Dr Helen Gavin who will introduce some of the environmental work of Bristol Water and highlight what you can do to use water wisely.
Helen is from the Water Resources and Environment team of Bristol Water. She has worked in the water industry for 20 years, covering environmental and energy projects, from abstraction investigations to drought plans and greenhouse gas emissions.
Bristol Water has been providing an essential public water service to the communities in and around the city of Bristol since 1846, when the Bristol Water Works Company Bill was enacted. Today, 1.2 million people rely on the company for clean, fresh drinking water.
