Council housing in Bristol is now over one hundred years old. It has a fascinating history from its early beginnings after the First World War to the present. Our speaker is Peter Insole, Historic Environment Officer for Bristol City Council and research associate at the University of Bristol History Department. He is an archaeological and historical specialist with over twenty years experience of working in the heritage sector in Bristol. He also maintains Bristol’s Historic Environment Record and he devised and manages Know Your Place.
Members will be invited to attend this Zoom event by email.
